Privacy Policy

Carrom Board is a carrom game. We built it to collect as little as possible: there are no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no sign-up, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
Playing offline (vs AI or 2 players on one device)
Offline matches run entirely on your device. Nothing about them is sent to us. The game stores your sound on/off preference on your device only.
Playing online
Online play and usernames are optional. If you use them we process:
- A random guest ID. We create an anonymous account so the server can tell the two players apart. It contains no name, email, phone number or contacts.
- Your username, if you choose one. It is public: other players can see it and find you by searching for it. Don't use your real name or anything personal.
- Room data: the room code, which guest IDs are seated, the board position, and each shot's aim and power, so the server can check every shot fairly.
- Online status and challenges: when you last had the app open (so players can see who is online), and the challenges you send or receive.
- Blocks and reports: players you block, and reports you make about another player's username. Reports are only seen by us, to keep the game friendly.
- Connection data: like any internet service, our hosting providers receive your IP address and basic request logs to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.
This data is used only to run online matches. There is no chat and no public profile; your opponent only sees the board and whether you're connected. Rooms left idle are closed automatically.
Service providers
Online play is hosted on Supabase (database, guest accounts and real-time updates) and our web host. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide the service.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Online play has no chat; the only text players enter is a username, which is filtered for offensive words.
Deleting your data
You can erase your online data at any time. This permanently deletes every room you played in and your guest account. Offline play is unaffected.
You can also remove everything stored on your device by uninstalling the app or clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Because we don't hold names or contact details, the button above is the quickest way to delete your data. For anything else, use the support contact on the app's store listing.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, mention it in the app.
